Awesome 10 days at Batu Besar. Surf was consistent with a few solid days at the end. Pipih looked after us every day with large healthy meals, rooms were clean with much needed Ac. Yopi was down taking photos every day, so stoked to be taking some shots home! Cheers team see you next year.

An untouched area filled with natural beauty and perfect for our family holiday. Was such a lovely experience for our kids to see the giant turtles and release baby hatchlings. Kids loved the long walks down the pristine beaches with the dogs, plenty of hours spent swimming in rock pools and husband is fully surfed out. Wonderful friendly staff and yummy Indonesian food. Thanks Batu Besar for such a memorable family holiday.

Batu Besar is the best and closest place to stay to see the turtles. The staff contact the rangers to know when a female is laying and ready to be viewed, and also help with guides for walks and hikes and sightseeing locally.

A must stay place. They have a genset, which is handy as the grid power is bad, and the AC is a must during the hot midday hours when all you want to do is relax and read a book in bed after a long morning surf.

This place is clean. modern, economical and in serene surroundings. Great food, large portions, and varied. I'll stay here on my return.
